On Aria's first birthday she woke up & Brad got her. She said hi to both of us, and when Brad got back from the other room, she said "dadada" to him. She then got on the floor and crawled into the bathroom and put her hand into the toilet. I suspect next year is going to be pretty different from this year!
I'm stealing these ideas from Melissa & Caryn - I just thought both had such sweet posts about their little ones.
At one Aria loves:
splashing in the bath
pears
hugs & cuddles
climbing on the couch, the bookshelf, boxes, pillows, pretty much anything
her blue elephant (she sleeps with it every night, and it settles her if she's crying)
her mom
her dad
her other family
kisses
tickles on her legs, her belly and her neck
bananas
looking out the window
DOGS!! Oh my goodness does she love dogs.
walking to mom or dad and getting a hug when she arrives
putting everything in her mouth
the ocean
people, especially people her own size.
being put to sleep being walked and sung to
She hates:
being left alone
when mom tries to put her down after she's been away for a while
having her face washed
getting her diaper changed
being put in her high chair without food being there already
having things taken away from her that she shouldn't be playing with
falling or getting hurt (even the tiniest little thing will evoke quite the cry)
